Rapunzel is beautiful, Fiona is plain.

Take one brother grimm fairytale, then add a Chameleon and a swahsbuckling horse, and you get Tangled. Take on Ogre with an annoying accent, mix it in with lots of other Fairytales I forgot about, finally, add some sort of utopia ruled by a talking Frog, and you get the Shrek franchise.

Protagonists:

Eugine Vs Shrek

Both outcasts, both cynical, sarcastic, and abit cocky, they are two very strong characters. Eugine is sly, quick witted, eloquent, and has a charming brogue. Being a criminal, he isn't good friends with the Kingdom, and he gets mixed in with the wrong crowd(The stabbington brothers)...

Barbie as Rapunzel is kinda nice but she’s a plain jane.

As much as I love Tangled I have decided to compare it to the Mattel version so please enjoy and hope you like it.

The Charcthers

Mattel Version: Rapunzel in this version loves painting and she has beautiful long blonde hair. Her personality is nice and sweet and her style is pretty much ok I guess. She is living with Gothel and her German rat(well it looked like a rat to me maybe it was an otter).Her father is a king and her mother died.

10 Things I like and dislike about Tangled

First off, let me tell you.... I LOVE this movie! I have watched this movie like 30x or more and I still haven't gotten bored of it. Yes, I know how it's gonna end already, but aside from the ending, I still enjoy the movie itself. There's a lot I like about this movie, but also some things I don't. Let's get started:

Like: The animation

I just love how beautiful it is. Remember that scene where Rapuzel is finally free of the tower and she sings her last note of "When Will My Life Begin? (Reprise)"? Right before she starts her mood swings, notice the background--the crystal clear sky along...

5 reasons why Tangled is my favourite movie

#1 The animation

The animation in this film is so real-like you think that your actually watching a live action movie. I love the animation for the lantern scene.

#2 The voice cast

Mandy Moore & Zac Levi were brilliant as Rapunzel and Eugene their expressions and emotions that they added to their animated charcthers was brilliant and top notch.

#3 The 1st Disney Princess movie to make me cry

Yes folks I admit it I cried like a baby when Eugene died in Rapunzel's arms after he says 'You were my new dream' and Rapunzel sobbing the words ' And you were mine T:T I whimpered like a puppy whenever i watch the climax.

#4 The music

OMG I love all the instrumental pieces in this(waiting for the lights) and the songs(I see the light). Alan Menken never lets me down.

#5 The sidekicks

Love the horse Maximus and the cute chameleon Pascal.

Last month I went to the cinema to see this film Tangled. I had no idea what it was going to be about although I did see a lot of clips of it and I thought it looked good.

Plot

Eugene Fitzherbert(also known as Flynn Rider) is a rogue arrogant bandit who happens to be the narrator of the film also. He steals a crown from the palace and tries to find a place to hid it. Tangled Inspired Haiku

While watching Tangled yesterday, I was inspired to write a couple of haiku. It's kind of funny, because I originally wanted to write a fan-fiction of some sort. I didn't have any ideas for a fan-fiction, but I had several ideas for haiku.

I know it's not a lot, and I don't know if they are well written, but I wanted to share them with you. I hope you like them!

Floating lanterns gleam

Above my head in the sky

Warming my dear heart

Glistening right there

Radiant like a flower

She outshines the light

In an unknown world

My review on Tangled

I managed to see this in German on YouTube and mind you this was the best Disney movie I have seen since Enchanted. The story is about a lost princess who is locked in a tower by an evil witch named Mother Gothel . A few days pass and a thief named Flynn Rider aka Eugene Fitz Herbert steals a crown and tries to find a place to hide it. He meets Rapunzel and they fall in love. I love the I see the light scene which is so magical and enchanting and the part where he says to Rapunzel
You are my new dream and Rapunzel says And you were mine Rapunzel says.

Trust me if you love fairytales like Shrek or Stardust then check it out. Its very good even though I saw it in another language and I had no idea what they were saying.
